I invite you into a space free of diet culture, size stigma, and healthism. My role is to meet you where you’re at and help you tap into your own inner strength to guide you along the way. This is an approach based on self-kindness, self-care and taking steps towards trusting yourself. I believe in your ability to listen to yourself and live accordingly. Diet culture teaches us to base our self-image on our size, but I reject this and embrace a whole-person perspective of health and nutrition. Dieting can lead to obsessiveness, self-loathing, frustration and defeat. I have a toolbox of options designed to bring peace to food, body, and self. This includes mindful eating, joyful movement, slowing down, identifying physical hunger versus emotional hunger, intuitive nutrition and challenging the food police! I believe that being heard, reflected, and having someone hold space for our own process creates hope, courage and unlimited possibilities. That’s what I want to offer you!
A large percentage of highly sensitive/intuitive people struggle with food and body image. Eating is sometimes used to control this level of perceptiveness as a form of numbing it out. My message to you is that you’re not too sensitive. You’re powerful, you’re gifted, and you can create an inner life where you step into that power, where you can reclaim your space, your food, and yourself.
